Bunkhouse Manager (Reports to President)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Bunkhouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and provding direction to housekeeping team members, as well as managing all aspects of the facility on a day-to-day basis. The Manager will ensure that housekeeping and customer service standards are met in accordance to Northstar Policies & Procedures. The position requires that the Manager be easily accessible to all staff and members of Head Office and be ready to respond to a variety of different situations al all times.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 + years of housekeeping and leadership experience
- Good physical and mental health
- Must be able to move continuously (push, pull, stretch, walk, bend) during work hours and able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, that may require shift rotations
- Must be available/on call 24 hrs/day to respond to all issues/concerns
- Neat, professional and well groomed appearance
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Effective decision making and conflict management skills
- Be able to interact effectively with all levels of management, staff and customers
- Responsible for projecting and maintaining staffing levels
- Recruit, hire and train new and existing staff
- Work with senior management to develop plans, policies and procedures
- Ensure all Safe Operating Procedures are adhered to
- Reports to President
